We are working with Portland Parks to have a commemorative bench added to Two Plum Park.
Two Plum currently has several wonderful features, such as a play structure and a swing set. Adding a bench would provide more options for more kinds of people to spend time in the Park.
Maybe you need a place to sit and watch the kids play, or a place to spread out your lunch and toys. Maybe you’re a community elder who would spend time in the park if there was an easy comfortable place for you to sit. Maybe you just want a place to relax. The aim is to get more people enjoying this public space!
How to Help
We are raising money to cover the cost of a commemorative bench through Portland Parks. This effort is a project of the North East Coalition of Neighborhoods, a charitable organization, so your support is tax deductible.
Any amount is helpful, so consider making a donation at the level that is most comfortable for you!
